If you believe that content on LinkyBooks infringes your copyright, please send a notice to our designated agent below. We process notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We also accept clear notices from outside the U.S.

DMCA Takedown Notice — Required Information

Include all of the following in English or Hungarian:

• Links (URLs) to the allegedly infringing content on LinkyBooks.
• Description or proof of your ownership (or authorization to act on behalf of the owner).
• Your full name and contact information (email and, if available, mailing address).
• A good-faith statement: “I have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
• An accuracy statement under penalty of perjury: “The information in this notice is accurate and I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.”
• Electronic or physical signature (typed full name is acceptable for electronic submissions).

Subject line suggestion: “DMCA Notice – [Your Work / URL]”

Process & Timeline

• We acknowledge DMCA notices within 72 hours.
• Content may be removed or restricted while we review the notice.
• We notify the uploader and may forward your notice to them.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice including:

• Links (URLs) to the removed content and an explanation why the removal was a mistake.
• Your name, contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court (for U.S. users) or the courts of your country, and consent to accept service from the original claimant.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification, plus your electronic/physical signature.

Repeat Infringers

Accounts with repeated or egregious infringements may be suspended or terminated.

Misuse of the DMCA

Submitting false or bad-faith notices may lead to account action and potential liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).
